Hi, my name is Emily Drisdelle! I'm a Master's student in Psychology at York University. My research is conducted in the Leadership, Competition, and Collaboration Lab under the supervision of Dr. Joey Cheng.

Generally, I am interested in competition, cooperation, social hierarchy, dominance, and nonverbal signaling. My current work considers women in leadership, including the power and cooperation dynamics between women leaders and their subordinates. Ultimately, I seek to understand what makes an effective leader and gain insight into the unique challenges women in leadership face and their strategies to navigate these hurdles.
